Authentic bull longhorn steer with hand carved glass, tile, and bead adornment. This piece is embellished with real African vinyl beads or vulcanite heishi beads. Traditionally worn as waist beads to draw attention to the feminine sway of a woman’s walk. Also adorned with Turkana cylindrical beads from Czechoslovakia. Heishi shell beads and a strand of old goomba beads traded to west Africa in the late 1800s.
